Radio/Despatch System Training

Before you are allowed to drive for a fleet you must attend a training session to learn how to use the despatch system in the taxi.  Different fleets have different systems so always check with the trainer which fleets are covered.  When you attend training at TTA you will be able to driver Taxis Combined Services, ABC Taxis, South Western Cabs, Computer Cabs, 131008 Sydney Taxis, St George Cabs, Yellow Cabs and other WATS vehicles (if you have your WATS authority) and Silver Service Taxis (if you have Silver Service approval).

Training sessions at TTA cover using the despatch system equipment inside the vehicle, safety equipment and procedures, EFTPOS and forms of payment as well as general information about the services provided by the Network.

Sessions are held every week in Alexandria or Moorebank and take approximately 3hrs.  You must have your Taxi Authority to be able to book into a class.
